Great wiring is what the Brit's are know for!

I'll track it down in a while, I want to make sure the engine stalling issue is resolved before I start dicking with other wires. The wire goes into the steering assembly. I noted that the headlight switch position 1 turns on the running lights but not the headlights.  Position 2 puts on the lights and the blue (high beam?) indicator.  I'm wondering if this wire is for the low beams.  I noted that it comes off a splice crimp so its been touched before.
